Mockingbird Press was formed in 2011 by pastel artist Robert Antell, who had spent most of his adult life in the field of design, printing and publishing.
The company emerged from a desire to create the finest reproductions of his own artwork and the realisation that there was a gap in local provision for high quality reproduction of original artwork.
Having spoken to 100s of fellow artists Robert saw a business opportunity to put his knowledge and experience into his own business and Mockingbird was formed.
What we do

Greetings cards
& Postcards
We understand that the process of reproducing artwork into greetings cards can be daunting, and potentially stressful, so we offer a unique service which ensures great results every time.
Every artist is in a different place when they decide to come to us for card printing. Some have print-ready files that require minimal adjustments on our part, whereas others have a masterpiece on canvas, but limited computer skills. We ensure that everyone, regardless of situation, receives greetings cards of immense quality for a reasonable price.
With a choice of 5 beautiful card stocks to choose from we are sure you will be thrilled with the superb quality of your printed results.
We offer a re-cycled option and 4 other stocks from paper made from responsibly managed forest sources. (samples on request).
We also offer envelopes and card catch labels (branded if required) to hold the envelope in place to avoid the use of single use plastic cello bags which are quickly becoming obsolete in the card industry.
Fine Art
Gallery Prints
We can produce beautiful fine art gallery quality prints on luxurious heavyweight art papers.
We have 5 FSC certified papers to choose from ranging from eggshell through to textured watercolour paper up to 350gsm.
If you would like to see the quality of one of our prints then please send a jpeg, pdf, tiff or eps file at high resolution 300dpi and we think you will be impresssed with the image quality, colour clarity, image definition, light fastness and of course the price!
We can print up to SRA3 or 12" x 16".
We can also supply them with cellos and stiff/light foam core backing board if you require.
Stationery and wedding products
This is a fairly new area for us, we have been asked more and more to produce bespoke wedding stationery for couples who are finding that the cost of producing quality wedding stationery can be extortionate!
I have seen this with my own daughter’s wedding!
We offer a bespoke design and layout service for your wedding stationery sets and a choice of 5 beautiful card stocks.
Envelopes can also be supplied in a variety of colours.
